Entrepreneurship activities are regularly developed at Ysgol Abercaseg. This provides opportunities for children to select activities that develops their self-confidence, their ability to recognize their personal feelings and improve their self-esteem through recognizing their achievements. The activities also make the children aware of Fair Trade and Global Citizenship.
Comic Relief

As the children are eager to help those who are less fortunate than themselves, they decided to come to school dressed in a funny costume, fancy dress or in something that was red on Red Nose Day! They were fined £1 for this, and the £95 raised was donated to Comic Relief.

Summer Fair

For every Summer Fair, pupils from each class are given the opportunity to discuss and decide on a venture to raise money for the school.

They create their own products, decide how much to sell them for, and sell them at the fair.

Then, they evaluate the venture and consider what they could do differently next time.
